Our annual Photo Day has come around again. Photos are all scheduled to take place this coming Saturday, 21 May. Please see the table below for the schedule for each team.
Kings Langley SFC would love to hear from any players aged 11 or older who are interested in becoming Game Leaders for our MiniRoo games.
As a Game Leader, your focus is on shepherding our youngest footballers through the basics of the game, reminding them of the rules of the game and providing them with leadership by giving them someone to turn to on the field to let them what happens next through each of the phases of play.
For our older MiniRoo teams, Game Leaders are the position of authority during the match, enforcing the rules of the game while also allowing for opportunities for players to continue to learn the rules of the game in a non-competitive environment.
Being a Game Leader is a paid role, and is a wonderful opportunity for our more senior youth players to help guide the players of the future. Some of our previous Game Leaders have since gone on to become qualified official "black and white" referees and officiate competition games.
Please contact Michelle at secretary@kingslangleysoccerclub.com.au for more information.
Due to the extreme wet weather in the preseason this year, the Blacktown and District Soccer Football Association has decided to delay the start of the season for Saturday teams by one week. The season now commences on Saturday 9 April with Round 2. All Round 1 games will be made up at some point during the season, either with a Saturday/Sunday double header, or using a catchup round. More details will be provided as they become available.
The season will still commence on Friday 1 April for our Over 35s (weather permitting). Good luck, boys!
It's been a long time coming, but we think it has been worth the wait. Please take a look around, and don't hesitate to let us know via the Contact Us form if you find any gremlins hiding.
