2026 FIFA World Cup Sweepstake Rules

1. Promoter

The promoter of this sweepstake is Kings Langley Soccer Football Club (“the Club”).

2. Purpose

This sweepstake is conducted as a fundraising activity for the benefit of the Club.

3. Eligibility

• Entry is open to all persons.
• Committee members and organisers may enter the sweepstake.
• By purchasing an entry, participants agree to be bound by these rules.

4. Entry Cost

• Entries are $20 AUD each.
• Participants may purchase multiple entries, subject to availability.
• Each sweep is limited to a maximum of 48 entries.
• If all entries in a sweep are sold, the Club may, at its discretion, open additional sweep rounds under the same rules.

5. Entry Period

• Entries open on publication of the sweepstake.
• Entries close at the time determined by the Club prior to the draw being conducted.
• The Club reserves the right to close entries earlier if all entries are sold.

6. How the Sweepstake Works

• Each entry purchased represents one position in the sweepstake.
• FIFA World Cup teams will be allocated randomly to entries during the official draw process.
• Participants do not select their teams.
• Teams are assigned entirely by chance.

7. Draw Process

The draw will be conducted as follows:

1. A final list of eligible entries will be prepared prior to the draw.
2. A complete list of FIFA World Cup teams participating in the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be randomly ordered prior to team allocation.
3. Entrants will then be randomly drawn live, one at a time.
4. Teams will be allocated sequentially according to the previously randomised team list.
5. Once allocated, teams cannot be exchanged, transferred or redrawn.

The draw:
- will be conducted live;
- may be livestreamed or recorded;
- will be overseen by at least two independent persons appointed by the Club; and
- will be conducted in a manner intended to ensure fairness, transparency and randomness.

The Club’s determination of the draw results is final.

8. Prize Structure

Prizes will be awarded based on the final performance of allocated teams in the 2026 FIFA World Cup tournament.

The final prize structure and prize values will be published by the Club prior to the commencement of the tournament.

9. Prize Payment

• Prize winners will be contacted using the details supplied at entry.
• Prizes will be paid within a reasonable timeframe following the completion of the tournament.
• If a winner cannot be contacted within a reasonable period, the Club reserves the right to make alternative arrangements.

10. Refunds

• No refunds will be provided after the draw has commenced.
• The Club reserves the right to cancel or modify the sweepstake if required due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

11. Privacy

Participant information collected for the purpose of the sweepstake will only be used for administration of the competition and Club communications.

12. Acceptance of Rules

Participation in the sweepstake constitutes acceptance of these rules and any lawful directions of the Club relating to the conduct of the sweepstake.
